Decide how many accounts your business needs.The number of accounts determines the number of vehicles that can be used simultaneously. Basic membership includes two accounts. 

Designate the “authorized drivers”. Only they are allowed to use Communauto’s vehicles. There is no limit to the number of “authorized drivers” that can be added to an account.

Make an appointment with us. You will then attend an information session and sign the contract as well as all the membership-related forms. Some fees are applicable if this session takes place outside our offices or if more than one information session is necessary. 

2. reserve

Book a car simply by phoning up ($0.60 per call, $1,20 in the evening) or by going online (free). Our vehicles are available 24/7.

Pick up the vehicle at the station of your choice by yourself. No need to go through an attendant.

Use the designated vehicle and bring it back to the original station at the end of your reservation.

Every month, your business will receive a detailed invoice.

The cost of a reservation is calculated based on the length of the booking and the distance traveled (starting at $1.55/hour plus $0.20/kilometre, gas included!).

Other beneficial rates are also available, such as special rates for long-distance trips and the Workweek rate (10 rental hours and 40 free kilometres for $14.80).

Since gas is included in our rates, any gas purchases you might make will be refunded on your monthly invoice.
